It seems like every two years I have to go to the San Francisco Giants Dugout store and buy some new apparel – this is because I have to get the latest garments that exclaim “World Series World Champions” for the years of 2010, 2012 and 2014. My biggest problem is there is not enough of this type of paraphernalia that is made in the Unites States. And when it comes to apparel that says World Series Champions, the percentage of made in USA goes down from the usual 2% to 0.05%. Luckily, I found a label that makes this type of apparel and it is made in the USA. It is called Majestic Threads.
Majestic Threads makes T-shirts, tanks, sweatshirts for all the major sports: NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB. They also make some T-shirts with professional players with their names and numbers imprinted on them.
Most of the Majestic Threads appear to be Made in the USA, but I can not verify that some might be made elsewhere (that is the trouble with some websites they do not always disclose where there are made, but they are supposed to). I, also, am not able to say that they are not associated with Majestic, the number one company that makes apparel for the professional sports teams. However, Majestic is usually foreign made, except for the authentic uniforms which are actually worn by the professional athletes. It is a situation quite similar to the baseball caps – the “official” MLB caps are made by New Era but most sold to the public are foreign made except the ones actually worn by the pro athletes themselves – now those are Made in the USA.
The only other dependable brand name that makes apparel with the sports logos is Junk Food. But sports logo garments are not its forte like it is for Majestic Threads.
Here are a couple of websites to find your favorite sports team apparel made by Majestic Threads:
