People who bought these Vibram FiveFinger shoes may be entitled to a refund

People who bought these Vibram FiveFinger shoes may be entitled to a refund. Have you bought one of those ugly five finger shoes? It was supposed to be better for your feet, but based on no scientific information. Well, Vibram, who makes these shoes have been sued for false advertising. This is similar to Skechers who, in 2012, paid out $40 million for saying their shoes would shape your buttocks and help you lose weight.

Well, Vibram agreed to pay out $3.75 million for claiming that it decreases foot injuries and increases foot muscle strength. If you were suckered into buying one of these after 2009, you can be reimbursed up to $94.

Vibram was originally an Italian company, they have a location in the U.S. but I do not believe they make any of their shoes in the USA.

Moral of the story: Don’t promise (in writing) what you can’t deliver.

I appreciate you reporting on this story. I have a pair of these shoes and would love to know how I go about getting the refund?

    Thank you.
