Michelle Obama Wears Thom Browne to Inauguration [Updated] – The Cut. Michelle Obama wore a Thom Browne coat and dress at the inauguration. Thom Browne is an American designer and most of his clothing is made in the USA. Mrs. Obama’s shoes were made by J. Crew (just like at the Democratic National Convention).
This outfit will be worn only once. Then the ensemble will be placed in the National Archives.
