Presidential debate souvenirs made in China

Why does it matter if debate swag was made in China?. At the first presidential debate in Denver, Colorado, souvenirs were given out and according to reporter, David Shuster, were all made in China. In fact, the issue of China or trade deficit were not brought up in this debate, because this was debate was about the economy. isn’t the trade deficit about the economy? Maybe possibly in the future debates. I do know that President Obama’s campaign souvenirs, on his website,  are all made in the United States. And Mitt Romney, on their official website say their campaign clothing is Made in USA, as well. The Debate souvenirs should be made in the USA.
